The Minister of Economic Development, Tourism, Trade and Enterprising,
Milva Ekonomi, was part of the joint economic forum Albania-Germany held
in Berlin on November 28th.
Ekonomi presented Albania’s achievements that were recognized internationally by the World Bank, with “Doing Business”, OECD with the competitive index, Social Progress Index, IMF and WB predictions about the economic situation of 2017.
She mentioned the government achievements and improved budget indicators, underlining that this year’s budget is not only deciding to continue the reforms and support the economic growth, but also accommodates the justice reforms, the public and territorial administration reforms, etc.
According to Ekonomi, this budget brings 7.6% more revenues than in 2016, thanks to the economic growth and government’s efforts in the fight against informality.
Ekonomi updated the present with the economic situation in Albania, focusing on the huge potentials that Albania has with foreign investments.
