Shkoder is the last city liberated from the Nazi occupation, and today,
on the day when the martyrs are commemorated, the monument of the five
heroes of Vig, which is the symbol of the anti-fascist war, is in a
terrible sate. Some parts of this monument are cut and sold for scrap.
The parts have been cut with tools, because the bronze is an expensive material. People have placed flags to cover some of the parts that have been cut.
The city of Shkoder was the last one that was liberated on November 29th. According to these documents, the German soldiers executed Qamil Berberi and his entire family.
