The high temperatures of the last few days have significantly increased the number of people seeking medical help in the summer health centers near the beaches of Durrës.
The situation is serious, therefore the structures for health care move during peak hours in the most frequented areas of the city of Durrës to come to the aid of residents and tourists.
In the 4 summer health centers set up on the coast of Durrës, more than 4,000 cases have been treated during this season. Problems caused by high temperatures and long exposure to the sun can cause various health problems which can be aggravated by insect bites, as reported in Currila beach, or Lalëzi Bay.
Doctors say that in case of bites, they should be referred for qualified treatment, as they appeal again for increased care on the part of the citizens in the days of the hot season.
