Relatives of the six Turkish citizens who were arrested this Thursday in Kosovo have waited for hours in front of the Prishtina “Adem Jashari” International Airport, after unconfirmed announcements had suggested that some of them had not been deported in Turkey yet, but they were being kept at the old airport terminal.

The old airport terminal is very close to the new one, which is managed by the Turkish-French consortium “Limak Aeroport de Lyon”, since 2010.

Kosovo Police declared that the Turkish citizens, whose residential permit had been revoked, have left Prishtina on March 29th, 2018, at 11:05.

Kosovo authorities arrested six Turkish citizens, leaders and professors of the Mehmet Akif college, on account of the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who blames them for the coup that took place two years ago in Turkey.

Local media have posted a video from the moment when the two Turkish citizens left.
