Wildfires continue to rage in parts of Albania, with a spread in almost all over the country.
A large fire has broken out in the forest crown of Peqin from yesterday, which is still active. The massive flames are causing a lot of damage in the area and are now threatening the local residents as they are approaching the houses.
In the country there are several wildfire hearths that are becoming a serious problem for the natural resources and the local citizens. The region of Elbasan is one of the hardest hit areas as wildfires are reported in the Guri i Zi, Labinotit-Mal and Gramshi areas, on some of which was carried out air intervention by the firefighting units.
