The French couple, Karine and Lionel, is visiting Albania for the second time, being impressed by the serenity of a country where one can find churches and mosque very close to another.
Top Channel’s cameras found the French couple at the Orthodox Cathedral in Tirana.
“The different religions make our visit to Tirana even more interesting. My husband, despite being Muslim, is allowed to visit a church. I was born Christian, converted to Buddhism. We use these different religions to be in touch with God. In Albania, you can find churches and mosques at the same spot. We are interested not only for their architecture, but also for the peace and originality”, Karine says.
Other tourist couples, Veronica and Pasquale, say that religious harmony is an added value to the country.
