The Central Election Commission has allocated a fund of 140 million ALL for Albanian political parties for 2021.
This year coincides with the general elections of April 25, while the Draft Decision of the CEC will be approved on February 2nd.
Respectively, the Socialist Party will receive 63 417 047 ALL, the Democratic Party 38 911 877 ALL, the Socialist Movement for Integration 20 012 797 ALL, the Justice, Integration and Unity Party 7 447 477 ALL, the Equal List 4 841 667 ALL and the Social Democratic Party 5 369 137 lekë.
The distribution of funds, says the CEC, is done by allocating 70% according to the number of deputies won in the last parliamentary elections, 20% equally between the parliamentary parties and political parties that have won over 10 thousand votes in the last elections, and 10% according to the percentage won among political parties that have won over 1 percent of the votes nationwide.
