An unofficial source said for Top Channel that, although it is proven that the department lacked the infrastructure for the functioning of Cash in Transit and Action, after inspections and documentation management, results also that since 2011, there has been no audit in the branch of the Treasury.
The lacking of this audit, according to the Prosecution, is opposed to the law that stipulates that internal audit should be conducted once a year.

For prosecution, the absence of three years of internal audit involves other suspects in the scandal, whose names will not be disclosed for investigative reasons.

On the other hand, it is confirmed that the ten detainees have addressed the case to the Court of Appeal, rejecting security measures imposed by the Court of First Degree, most of them claiming that the act of abuse is slight and that they do not pose threats to society.
