“Magna Grecia” club of “Off Road” vehicles is traveling across some
Southern Albanian sites for tourist and humanitarian reasons.
The eight members of this crew, mostly Arberesh from Italy, brought two Off Road trucks filled with humanitarian aid for some families in the area who they had seen from previous trips living in very bad conditions.
“We are in Albania because we like this country. It is ideal for everyone who uses off road vehicles in extreme conditions. We travel everywhere and like sharing with people our passion and experience with this vehicle. The Magna Grecia group organized several events, participates in European manifestations, respects nature and cooperate for civil protection. We are close to the people when they need us. This time we are supporting some families in Berat and we are happy to contribute”, declared Gianluca Capparelli, representative of the Magna Grecia Club.
The Italian Consul of Honor in Gjirokaster, Teodor Bilushi, who has welcomed the group of Arbersh, says that the exchange of experiences between the clubs will promote many important tourist destinations in Albania, which for the moment are achievable only with off road vehicles.
Eight off-road vehicles and two off-road trucks will visit some archeological sites in southern Albania, while the tour will go next week through Tirana.
