The Albanian students of the Graci University, in Austria, published the first issue of their “Minerva” magazine on January 21st, 1922.
The magazine was publishing the issues of our nation, folklore and Albanian literature.
On January 21st, 1914, journalist Medin Kamberi was born in Permet.
He graduated from journalism at the Roma University.
After returning to his homeland, he founded and led several institutions of the Albanian press.
In 1935, he published the literary magazine, called “Diana”, and two years later the political newspaper, focused on social, cultural and economic issues, called “Press”.
