The Ambassador of Albania in Israel, Bardhyk Canaj, was honored with the Gratitude Medal by the Katzir Production for his contribution in realizing this activity.
Cinematheque / Tel Aviv premiered the documentary titled “The Albanian Cod” by renowned Israeli producer Yael Katzir, in partnership with the Albanian Embassy in Israel, and with the contribution of many institutions, individuals, and especially Katzir Production.
This realization was made possible through cooperation with producer Katzir, with the purpose to promote the unique role of the Albanian citizens, who helped save Jews during WWII, something that serves to the national pride of Albanians, historic gestures that make Albania unique not only in the Balkans but also in Europe.
