The 20th anniversary of UHRP

“The UHRP was created as a party of the ethnic Greek minority, because to Omonia was refused the right to run for the elections of 1992. But soon they become the party of the vlechs in Albania, the party of the Serbian and Montenegrin communities, and the party of all marginalized categories”, the UHRP leader declared in his speech.
 
The Parliament Speaker, Jozefina Topalli, valued the role of UHRP during these 20 years of existence.

“The UHRP has an extraordinary philosophical base that is complementary with the EU philosophy, the philosophy of our efforts for becoming part of this important community”, Topalli declared.

The Socialist leader, Edi Rama, valued the figure of the UHRP leader maximally. According to him, he has made this party not fall prey of political bargains, as some of the leaders of this party.

“I am proud that the Socialist Party, the UHRP and our entire coalition of the Alliance for the Future is on the right side of history. We are on the right side of history, because we have the right vision for the recovery of economy. We want an Albania with real employment, and not increasing unemployment. We want that people who are paid to not be obliged to pay more taxes than the people who are paid more. We cannot accept that a nurse pays the same amount of taxes as our Prime Minister”, Rama declared.
