The Prime Minister of Kosovo, the Voice of America, that a final agreement with Serbia would mean a mutual recognition of both countries as sovereign, and this cannot be achieved without redefining the border with Serbia.
Both US officials, National Security Adviser John Bolton and State Secretary Pompeo, said that this is the time for Kosovo and Serbia to reach an historic agreement.
Thaci didn’t mention the border correction idea during this interview, which has caused harsh reactions from Prime Minister Haradinaj, but underlined that Kosovo will not be able to find a solution without resolving the border issue.
