One day before the second Kosovo-Serbia meeting, President Hashim Thaci
said that they will not be discussing about the wall raised by Serbs in
north of the country, because that is an internal matter of Kosovo.
The Kosovo Parliament passed a resolution for demolishing the wall, and today is the last day of the deadline. President Thaci did not explain what will happen exactly with the wall.
On the other hand, the Mayor of Northern Mitrovica, Goran Rakic, said there is no agreement with the Kosovo government for bringing the wall down.
Prishtina media quoted that Serbs would be the ones demolishing the wall, since it would put their residents in danger.
“Koha Ditore” writes that there is an agreement between Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, the Chief of the EU Office in Prishtina, Nataliya Apostolova, and the Mayor of the Northern Mitrovica Commune, Goran Rakic.
