The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, mentioned once again the possibility of correcting the border with Serbia. He said that those who consider this a division of Kosovo’s territory, is aiming for the country’s isolation.
According to the President, those who say that Kosovo is ready to give away Trepca, Ujman, Gazivoda and Mitrovica, are very wrong. “These belong to Kosovo and no one can touch them”, Thaci said. “It will be up to the citizens of Kosovo to say the last word with their vote”.
Thaci said that reaching an agreement with Serbia is impossible, because they stand in opposing ideologies. However, he adds, no agreement will be made without the consent of the USA, EU and NATO.
