Thaci, NATO meetings: “KSF transforming to Army through Constitution”

The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, held a series of meetings this Friday with NATO representatives, which he considers as very positive.
Thaci stated on social networks that in his meeting with the Deputy Secretary of NATO, Rose E.Gottemoeller, they discussed about deepening cooperation and transforming the Kosovo Special Forces into a proper army.
“We agreed to exchaust all possibilities to transform KSF into a proper army through Constitutional amends, with the participation of all Kosovo communities”, Thaci said.
He underlined that the soonest Kosovo and the entire Western Balkan become NATO members, the more stable peace and stability will be.
The President of Kosovo added that together with Prime Minsiter Haradinaj, and Deputy PM Jetvic, they have held discussions with US and British Ambassadors in NATO, Kay Bailey Hutchinson and Sara McIntosh as well.
