Thaci: “Minorities support creation of Kosovo army”

The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, declared that the ruling majority
has the support of minorities for the creation of the Kosovo Army.
“I met in Prizren with political leaders of ethnic communities that are represented at the Parliament of Kosovo. I am happy to have their powerful support for transforming the Kosovo Security Forces into a multi-ethnic army, well integrated in the Euro-Atlantic family. We agree that time has come for Kosovo’s men and women in uniform to serve their own country”, Thaci said.
