The Diaspora summit reacted with applauds when President Thaci promised that there will be no unfair negotiations with Serbs, from his side, for exchanging territories.
“Territory exchange is a dirty negotiation and no one will take the national cause for sale. Not a single millimeter of Kosovo’s territory will be allowed to be taken away. Not before walking on my dead body. No one will take Trepca, Mitrovica, Ujman or other areas of Kosovo”, Thaci said.
He said that the border correction is necessary to have the Presheva Valley join Kosovo.
He reiterated that Russia will not become part of the process, and that he will refuse any idea of a Balkan Union.
