During the homage at the Koshare Martyr’s Cemetery, the place of a big Kosovo Liberation Army battle, the President of Kosovo spoke about neighbouring Serbia as well, a country with whom they have had ups and downs, despite efforts for normalizing relations.
“We will respond to Serbian threats the same way we responded 19 years ago”, Thaci said.
The President reminded that every year, in April and May, Kosovo commemorates the sacrifice and resistance during 1998-1999, but this time, he added, Kosovo is also celebrating the first decade of independence and 19-th anniversary of liberation.
For Thaci, Kosovo has no other orientation except the Euro-Atlantic one.
