Thaci and Serbian List comment demolition of Mitrovica wall

The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, declared that interethnic
problems can be resolved only through dialogue, and this can be shown by
the agreement reached between local and central governments of Kosovo
for demolishing the Mitrovica wall.
“Kosovo guarantees the rights and freedoms to any citizen, regardless of their ethnic background. Our ethnic groups are an added value to our country, that’s why external hate rhetoric would damage our harmony. Kosovo is one and there will be no walls, only bridges”, Thaci said.
Thaci gave this message after the Kosovo Government announced that an agreement had been found for demolishing the wall, after a meeting between the Minister of Environment with the Mitrovica Mayor, in a meeting mediated by the EU.
The Serbian List, in the meanwhile, said they are proud for the maturity shown by their Prime Minister, Alexandar Vucic, for demolishing the wall.
