A 17 year old tetraplegic patient from the Lapulec village in
Mallakastra has been abused sexually. The Fier doctors had the patients
in hospital complaining about health problems.
The doctors verified that the girl was pregnant.
“She’s not allowed to have a pregnancy to the ninth month with this health card, that’s why she will undergo abortion”, declared Robert Luto, a gynecologist.
“Two days ago we had a 17-year-old girl from Fier. She is pregnant, in the fourth month. She is tetraplegic and under the care of their family members”, declared Kliti Gjerazi, head of the maternity.
The case went to the Fier Prosecution, which has interrogated the mother and brother of the girl, who said that they have no information. The 17-year-old is unable to speak or to move. Her father and her two brothers are immigrants in Greece. The suspicions are also for their neighbors.
