After the administrative court suspended the test of nurses until they
review the complaint presented by the Order of Nurses, the Health
Minister, Ilir Beqja, declared that they will respect this decision and
they will prepare for court.

“We will respect the decision. The test that was foreseen for this Saturday and Sundy will not be done. We will present our arguments why the test is needed and why it is legal”, Beqja declared.

Although the Court decided only for nurses, Beqja declared that the test will be suspended for the doctors too.

“If the court decides, then we will have to review the legal base of the process”, the Minister declared.

When asked that if the court will decide to cancel the test, the Health Minister declared that in these conditions, it is normal to not make new administrative actions with doctors, since the context is the same.

Did the Court verdict influence the Ministry for canceling the testing of nurses and doctors definitively?

“No, there is no reason for it. The Court judged to suspend it until the final decision is taken. We will give our arguments and will give new steps. Les what for the coirt’s decision and see if we will have to change anything” Beqaj declared.

According to the Health Minister, a bigger problem than the test is the fact that 36% of doctors, 28% of nurses and 52% of dentists do not enough credit for exercising their profession.
