The Albanian jihad soldiers, returned from Syria, are all under
surveillance. Their chances of returning to the front or getting engaged
in terrorist activities inside the country is almost 0.

The new anti-terror scheme and the increased number of police officers increases the certainty for international partners that all returned Albanian fighters will be isolated. Only those who are not identified yet can be excluded, and all identified soldiers who do not return to Albania but to another country.

More than 20 injured soldiers have returned in Albania during the past year. They have been cured by our hospitals and interviewed by the Albanian Secret Police. Sources at the anti-terror police say that there are zero chances that they could turn back.

They will not be allowed to leave the country, but there are also no chances that they will go back through illegal methods.

Many soldiers have returned to Albania from Syria after interrupting their activities. But the new soldiers remain a problem. Despite the arrest of some Imams who helped to send them to war fronts.

There are still suspicions for volunteers. The Albanian Secret Police and the Secret Service in Albania, has not detected any sign that they could engage in any terror act within the country.
