An armed robbery has shocked the city of Vlore. This Monday, around
11:30, three masked men entered the premises of a Bank in the center of
Vlore, near the “Sheshi i Flamurit”.
The three robbers came out a dark red Mercedes without plates, neutralized the bank security agent by hitting him with hard objects and by taking away his automatic gun.
They shot several times inside the bank and ordered the personnel to give them the money. The bank was in its busiest hours, and the three masked men also robbed the civilians who were about to withdraw or deposit money.
They have threatened every client and employee by shooting several times inside the bank hall. An emigrant woman says that she had been terrorized together with her children while the robbers took her 10 million ALL.
Fortunately, no one was hurt. Police came after the robbers had left and they were able to find only one abandoned automatic gun and the car. Inside the car there were some banknotes that the robbers probably left while hurrying to flee.
