The taxi drivers licensed by the Kamza Municipality protested this
Monday in Tirana against the penalizations that the police is making to
the capital taxi cabs.
They say that the Tirana Municipality, different to the conditions of the license, doesn’t allow them to return with passengers from the Tirana Municipality.
The drivers blocked the road and have asked help by the Prime Minister. The response says that they have the right to operate in Tirana.
They say that they are the only ones who are not allowed to return with passengers, while fuel prices are very expensive. They threat to block the national roads, if their request will not be met.
