The General Tax Directory appeals homeowners who lease their real estate properties to declare their income taxes or they will face fines.
The Tax Office warned that they will cooperate with other institutions and will use every source to track leasing transactions.
Individuals who have leased their properties will have to pay 15% of the profit. The income will be declared every 20th day of the next month after the payment.
The law provides a fine equal to 100% of the hidden income, and the crime is registered as a criminal offence.
