Top Channel has returned this Monday to the corruption of the government
administration, reporting a tax inspector who pressures traders so that
they can pay him bribes.

Top Channel’s investigative program brought the story of a butcher, who said that he had been threatened with high fines.

Rushit Azemi said for Fiks Fare that he admits he has violated the law by working illegally, but he has been forced to do so, he says, for maintaining his family. The butcher shop he owns were seized, and he had started working illegally.

“The inspectors arrived here and the one who looked like their chief was pressuring me, telling me how high was the minimal fine. I said I would accept the fine but I cannot accept that he wants money from me, abusing this way with the law”, said Azemi for Fiks Fare, after the inspectors had requested 10% of the fine to let him go.

The owner says his shop had been closed three times in the past years, and, in these conditions, he addressed to Fiks Fare to make this situation public.
