Tax Authority Chairwoman Brisida Shehaj is the last government representative to deny any battle against Albanian businesses in the September action against informality. Talking to reporters she said the sole goal of this action is protecting taxpayers and contribute to the state budget in order to afford salaries increase and investments.
“This operation is important because it will help small enterprises and big corporations to avoid tax evasion and use the fiscal tax register”, she said, adding, “Citizens will be sure from now on that on every payment they make for any product, the state will get its part”.
