Tavo sues Gjirokaster Mayor Bime

Vangjel Tavo, deputy of Gjirokaster, has filed a criminal and civil suit against the Mayor of Gjirokaster, Flamur Bime.
Tavo said that the suit was for defamation because of duty, for public accusations for personal profits and for moral damages.
“I just filed a criminal suit against the Mayor of Gjirokaster over defamation. Bime accuses me of being sold to Berisha”, the deputy declared.
Tavo demanded 200 million ALL for moral damages, money that according to him will be used for charity.
The Mayor of Gjirokaster, Flamur Bime, accused Vangjel Tavo yesterday at Top Channel’s “Top Story”.
“I have a document dated June 26th 2009, which shows that the Tavo family has profited 14 hectares of land in Lëkurs village”, Bime said.
Tavo announced that the case against Mr. Bime, regarding the old apartment building that crumbled in Gjirokaster by killing three people, will be reopened soon.
