160 million EUR will be added each year to our country’s GDP after the pipeline will start operating, while 1700 jobs have been created so far, with 90% of the employees Albanian.

Ian Bradshaw, General Director of TAP, said that 92% of the work has been done with the rehabilitation  of bridges and roads. 12 km of pipes have been installed so far, and there are more than 1700 people hired, 90% of them Albanian.

PM Rama said that there have been several negotiations, often strict ones, so that we can have profits equal to Greece. “We don’t want to simply have gas go through our country. In 20 years, every heating system should be with gas in Albania”, he said.
