The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, said that the fact that Saimir Tahiri received his passport back from the court, means that the government is pressuring the judiciary, after appointing the new Provisory Prosecutor General Arta Marku.
“This is the start of an anti-constitutional act that concentrates power on the hands of a single person, a person who must be brought to justice, and who is giving another hit, maybe a fatal one, to the judiciary reform”, Basha said.
Lulzim Basha said that the scandal of Saimir Tahri, the former Interior Minister who is accused by the opposition for international drug traffic, has sealed the fate of Edi Rama.
