The Socialist MP, Sajmir Tahiri, sent a letter to the foreign
ambassadors that are accredited in Tirana regarding his trial with the
Prime Minister’s children.
the letter addressed to the US and EU ambassadors, the Socialist MP claims that this trial causing a great injustice against him.
“The Prime Minister’s children are asking 60.000 EUR of compensation, while the court has denied me the right to bring journalists, with the justification that they do not know their address. The judge closed the investigation partially. I invite you to be present in the conclusive session”, Tahiri declared in his letter.
The Socialist MP underlines that he has always criticized the judicial system in Albania, by reporting the fact that the courts refuse to ask evidence documentations from state institutions.
After 12 judicial sessions, the defensive lawyer of the Prime Minister’s children, Sokol Barci, gave the conclusions and asked the Court to make Tahiri pay 4 million ALL to each of the Prime Minister’s children.
Tahiri asked more time for his conclusions, and the Court granted him time until June 20th.
He declared for the media that he had the necessary documents for proving his declarations that the Prime Minister’s children are corrupted.
