The US Ambassador to Prishtina, Greg Delawie, met with the Parliament Speaker of Kosovo, Kadri Veseli.
The focus of this meeting was the political crisis in our country, especially after the opposition gave a negative answer to President Jahjaga’s invitation for dialogue.
After the meeting, Ambassador Delawie said that the Parliament will hold a session this Friday, which is very important for the citizens of Kosovo.
The US diplomat said that the people who bring weapons and violence in Parliament are damaging the economy of Kosovo and are isolating it.
“The US support Kosovo and its asporations, but everyone must respect the democratic norms”, Delawie declared.
On the same line, Parliament Speaker Kadri Veseli said the Parliament is not the place to transmit violence, but discussions and law that serve to citizens.
He appealed the opposition Parliament Members to contribute with their discussions in this Friday’s session.
