The Serbian President, Boris Tadic accused the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci of “warning violence” with his declarations that the Serbian northern structures have connections with crime and terrorism.

“Serbia’s reaction will be calm, although Prishtina’s institutions are not immune towards organized crime and cannot establish the rule of law in Northern Kosovo”, Tadic declared.

The reaction of the Serbian President came after Thaçi declared in the Parliament of Kosovo that the Serbian parallel structures are gradually turning into paramilitary structures, responsible for terrorist acts.

Tadic: We’re not leaving Northern Kosovo

The Serbian President Boris Tadic declared that Serbia is ready to restart dialogue with Kosovo, but on the other hand he underlined once again that the withdrawal of the Serbian institutions from Northern Kosovo is unacceptable.

“It is unacceptable for us to withdraw the Serbian institutions from Northern Kosovo, as a condition for receiving the EU candidate status”, Tadic declared.

The Serbian President released these comments a few days ago from Prague, where he attended a meeting woth the Czech homologue, Vaclav Klaus. Tadic underlined that as long that he will be President, Serbia will never recognize Kosovo.

“Serbia will not recognize Kosovo for as long that I will be President, and will not do this even after this period. As for withdrawing the institutions that offer health services, education and that function legally, Serbia will never accept this condition for a further approach with EU”, Tadic underlined.
