The repair of the relations between Belgrade and Prishtina will be one
of the main elements to be reviewed for Serbia’s EU candidacy.
The declaration came from the EU President, Herman Van Rompuy, in the Serbia-EU forum that is being held in Belgrade.
The Foreign Serbian Minister, Vuk Jeremic declared that the admission of Serbia’s candidacy that was planned for this year, might not happen.
Tadic: No to conditions for integration
The Serbian President, Boris Tadic declared that Serbia is against the conditions for becoming part of EU, and asked to be treated same as all other countries who apply for EU membership.
He released these comments in the “Serbia-EU” Forum that is being held in Belgrade.
“Serbia cannot be convinced by anyone for how to resolve the situation of Kosovo before entering EU. However, Serbia is doing everything possible for solving this situation in a democratic way”, Tadic declared in the Forum “Serbia-EU”, which is being held in Belgrade.
