After Albania rejected to host the destruction of Syria’s chemical
weapons, the United States of America are planning to realize this
process at sea, according to the BBC.

Warship MV Cape Ray will hold the chemical load and it will be destroyed through advanced technology.

On board there will be the necessary equipment for realizing the process that needs a lot of water during the phase that eliminates the agents and creates toxic waste.

The Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, which won the Nobel Prize in 2013, chose the end of 2013 as the final deadline for the destruction of the Syrian deadline.

The former deadline expired on November 15th and was not made possible, after Albania and several other countries rejected the request.

The chemical Syrian chemical arsenal is kept in safe places, under surveillance of the OPCW in Syria.

Syria has declared that they have a total of 1.3 tons of chemical weapons.
