The Italian authorities are preparing for a possible emergency of Syrian
refugees blocked at the Macedonian-Greece border, who mate change
itinerary and travel to Italy from Albania.
“La Repubblica” writes that the journey is already being organized through Facebook, while traffickers might already be ready to transport them through inflatable boats to Italy.
The Italian Minister of Interior, Angelino Alfano, said that they are working to not open the refugee course from Balkan to Puglia once again.
A few days ago, the former Minister of Defense, Mario Mauro, said that the refugees should be protected from possible sinking and be transported by NATO military equipments to Italy.
The concern is not only on refugees, but also on a possible arrival of terrorists and ISIS militants.
