Surveillance law amend, Prosecution, Police and Secret Service have direct access
11/03/2016 19:40
The Prosecution, the State Police and the Secret Service will have
direct access on the database of companies that offer communication
services, cell phones or internet.
The Ministry of Interior has prepared a project that forces these companies to give the data of their clients to the Prosecution or the Secret Service within 24 hours after the request.
The drafters of the plan say the purpose is to avoid the negative practice led so far, with the companies delaying their response up to six months.
This has caused several delays in the past, and now companies will be bound to give within 24 hours the IP addresses and the MAC address.
