The summit of Foreign Ministers and of Economy, with the presence of all
regional countries, had some questions about the relations between
Albania and Serbia.
The Albanian Ministers were asked about what happened with the Albanian national team, with the focus on Prime Minister’s Rama visit to Serbia.
The Serbian government didn’t publicize that much this event that had the presence of Ministers from the Albanian government, the Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati and the Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Enterprise, Arben Ahmetaj.
“The situation between Albania and Serbia after the match has its own influence in the relations between the two countries, but it doesn’t stop us to be in Belgrade and discuss with the Balkan colleagues about essential issues that are related to the economic and political future of Balkan, and for the integration path of Balakan in the EU”, Ahmetaj declared.
In this meeting was present the Kosovo Foreign Minister, Enver Hoxhaj, who said that the recent events have shown that the dialogue is necessary and he asked Serbia to recognize the independence of Kosovo.
