Former Democratic Party MP, Bardh Spahia, reacted after the serious event that happened last night, where another coronavirus patient ended his life, jumping from the fourth floor of the “Shefqet Ndroqi” hospital.
Through a post on social networks, Spahia writes that coronavirus patients are not treated with psychologist, as the latter are absent from the hospitals.
According to Bardhi this repeated case within a few weeks should bring serious commitment from the authorities and a concrete plan to treat the aggravated psychological condition state due to the isolation and difficulty of the disease.
“How many more patients with covid-19 to commit suicide for the government to react?
“There is still no reaction from the hospital “Shefqet Ndroqi” for the 65-year-old with Covid-19, who ended his life by jumping from the fourth floor of the hospital! The second case in less than three weeks, should bring serious commitment from the authorities and a concrete plan to treat the psychological condition due to the isolation and difficulty of the disease! Be they with pre-existing problems or not, the fact is that a 29-year-old and a 65-year-old chose to end their lives, instead receiving of medical treatment!”, states Spahia among other things.
