A group of residents from the Trush village, in the Sub Shkoder area,
held a protest against the government that failed to pay their damages
caused by the floods of November 2010.
The protesters threatened that they will block the axis of the Velipoje beach.
This is the second time in a few months that the Trush residents protest for their compensation.
The massive flood of November 2010 was considered as the biggest natural catastrophe in the last 150 years, which damaged 8000 residences, 16.000 hectares of land, killing 35.000 heads of cattle and causing a 30 million USD damage, which has not been compensated to the residents.
