High school graduates have continued their protest today in front of the Ministry of Education over the Albanian Language and Literature test, as according to them the questions were out of the revisions program.

Unlike yesterday, today the students blocked the ‘Durrës Road’ in front of the Ministry, asking the fulfillment of two requirements; re-evaluating the Language and Literature test and lowering the threshold for grades 9 and 10.

But director of educational services at the Ministry, Rezana Vrapi, said in a press statement yesterday that the request of the graduates for re-evaluation opportunities will not be met.

“Regarding the review of the test, I see no reason for it because of the procedures followed were correct. I tell you with the utmost conviction, there is nothing wrong with that. If there is a reason for the distribution of points, we will definitely do it”, Vrapi stated.

Also Minister of Education, Besa Shahini, in a reaction on “Facebook” gave her support to the exam experts, describing the protest as ‘instigated by the opposition’.
