The Minister of Health and Social Protection Ogerta Manastirliu, during the meeting with the epidemiologists of Tirana, one of the main centers in the country, stated that 300 doctors, nurses and technicians will be added to the health system, in response to the medium-term plan and strategy for the situation caused by COVID19.
“The government has allocated 300 employees dedicated to the hospitals that are expected to open, but also to our medium-term plan in response to the situation caused by COVID19. The new employees will be doctors, technicians or nurses, who will respond to the needs of COVID hospitals or other needs of the health system”, said Manastirliu.
“We are preparing for the autumn-winter, which will certainly be difficult, but we are preparing to strengthen the assets in terms of human resources, epidemiologists, employees in the services of Local Health Care Units. The priority will not only be testing, but also tracing and investigating to limit the infection “, said Manastirliu.
