The Vice leader of the Socialist Movement for Integration, Petrit
Vasili, declared that the Socialist Party and Socialist Movement for
Integration are discussing a common program, and they have still held no
discussion about the new government.
“The names are not on the focus, because, after all, in September we will have the voting of a government program which is the basis. The debate will focus on the program and its implementation. Whoever will be appointed in the ministries will have many responsibilities to implement this program, and for the first time our responsibility is to have a tangible program that can be implemented”, Vasili declared.
Vasili underlined that this will be a long-term program, and the priority will be resolving the current economic crisis. According to him, the Socialist Party and the Socialist Movement for Integration will cooperate to govern together for several mandates.
“I believe that the past experiences were a great treasure, and I believe that today more than ever this coalition had a great support from the citizens. This coalition has the chance to administer its power for several mandates, because the challenge of this mandate is a challenge that has been done and all the positive answers will be optimistic since the beginning”, Vasili declared.
He also favored another point that has been discussed, such as the fact that none of the elected Parliament Members will work as ministers.
“The division of mandates is not a new practice and it is not of Albanian origin. A country that wants to overcome its problems quickly need maximal efficiency in every decision. Every action that keeps a low pace, that preserves stagnation or minimal efficiency of the institutions is not needed”, Vasili declared.
