Steinmeier congratulates Ilir Meta for being voted President of Albania

Steinmeier expressed his conviction that with the consensual passing of the judiciary reform, Albania undertook an important step towards the consolidation of the rule of law.

“The implementation of the five key priorities is the most important task for Albania towards its EU path. Your country can rely on Germany as a sincere and trusted friend. I welcome the cooperation with you”, writes the German President, Frank Walter Steinmeier in the message sent to Ilir Meta.
