Stefan Fule, the European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighboring,
will visit Tirana this Monday to discuss with Prime Minister Edi Rama
about the 4th round of High-Rank dialogue for the key priorities. This
process started in last November “with the purpose to intensify the work
of Albania to the key reforms, with the support of the European
Commission”, as reminded by Spokesperson Peter Stano,

Human rights, the judiciary, corruption, organized crime and public administration reforms are the 5 key priorities that stand between Albania and the EU for starting the accession dialogue, and for the reform process can be all inclusive and stable, a constructive political dialogue is required among parties.

“This round marks the first meeting since the start of the candidate status, and will be held a few days before the finalization of the annual progress report on Albania, which is foreseen to be published in the first half of October”, Stano declared.

The rule of law, the judiciary and administration reform, fight against organized crime and corruption, the implementation of the Association-Stabilization Agreement and the economic developments in our country are the main sectors that will be evaluated in the Autumn report. The theft at the Bank of Albania and the arrest of its leader might also be mentioned in the report.
