Status is possible this December, but Albania must show that it is fighting corruption during this time.
This is the message of the European Parliament Delegation, led by Eduart Kukan, who arrived in Tirana for the inter-parliamentary meeting of this year between Albania and the European Parliament. The Delegation held meetings with the highest leaders of the Albanian state and politics.
Mr.Kukan declared that Albania deserves the candidate status hits December, and added that our country needs to transmit trust for the progress in Brussels and the political comprehension.
“The status doesn’t require only the commitment of the Foreign Ministry, but concrete actions against crime, so that skeptics can also be convinced”, Kukan declared.
