The State Police has engaged hundreds of police officers for the protest at the “Deshmoret e Kombit” boulevard in Tirana.
All units were present near the Prime Minister’s office, not only for guarding the building, but also for the public’s safety.
No incident was reported by the state police. Before the Democratic Party meeting started, the Police declared that they had information about armed people who could mix with the crowd and create violent acts.
The police asked citizens to be careful from these individuals. Despite the declarations, there was no violence in the meeting.
