50.000 young people will undergo the obligatory state exams that start
on May 31st. For the first time the rooms will have signal detectors
that will not allow the usage of internet and mobile conversations in
the test room.
“The new technology will help the testing processes. There will be detectors in the rooms and no internet interferences will be allowed in the test areas”, declared Fatmir Vejsiu, General Director of the Pre-University Education at the Ministry of Education.
Experts say that the tests cannot be corrected with optical correctors, and for this reason the 10 days deadline for the results will be respected.
“There are 25 questions for the obligatory subjects, 13 of which are with alternatives and 12 need elaboration from the students. The test has a given format. 40% are under the average level, 40% in the average level and the rest is above the average”, Vejsiu declared.
The young students who will study abroad will be able to retrieve the diploma until July 15th, the final deadline for many universities abroad.
