From December 18th to December 22nd, the General Directory of Archives organizes the Week of Open Archives, with visitors able to see the work processes that are being done at the State Archive.
“Visitors will also be able to take a look at the Codexes and Fermans, including the Codex of Berat, (Codex Beratinus) which is part of our precious national and cultural heritage, and that has rarely been introduced to the public”, said Elsa Zaka, Spokesperson for the State Archive.
Organized groups from schools and universities will have to appoint their visits. The archive is open for the first time as part of the Pan-National Year of Skanderbeg and will be repeated every year.
